The Chicken Gold Camp & Outpost is one of Alaska's friendly rural RV parks/campgrounds providing 39
electric RV campsites, 32 'dry' (un-powered) RV or tent sites (in 3 adjoining campgrounds. The "Gold Camp" also has rentable rooms and cabins, and is
located on a scenic bench of Chicken Creek in the center of the wilderness community of Chicken, Alaska, easily accessible off the Taylor Highway.
The "Gold Camp", which prides itself in clean, well-maintained facilities, offers the following amenities in the campgrounds:
- 20 amp sites
- 30 amp electric pull-thru RV sites
- FREE wireless internet access for our guests
- FREE bundle of firewood with campsite
- Potable water at fill up station - free with camping
- Access to showers 24 hrs/day - coin operated
- FREE grey water and sani-dump with camping
- Tables & fire rings
- Private wooded tent sites
- Weatherport (large weatherproof tent) with cots
- Separate Caravan park with 25 electric (20 amp) pull-thru sites and 6 dry sites (ask about our caravan packages)
- Pavilion for large groups, out-of-the-weather camping for bikers
- Large barbecue grill for groups
- Planned group activities including gold panning, gold dredge tours, recreational
gold prospecting and more, both in the campgrounds and on nearby claims in the Chicken Creek Valley.
